Kunstenaar Albert Goodwin
"Born in 1845 in Arundel, Sussex, Albert Goodwin was a landscape and water-colour painter, holding an outstanding position in the modern English school. He was a member of the Royal Society of Watercolour Painters and he began to exhibit his works in 1860. From this time on, his name was frequently found in the Society's catalogue, in the Royal Academy catalogue and in the results of public sales. He died in 1932. Albert Goodwin's works are highly regarded and examples of his water-colours can be found in the Victoria and Albert Museum, and in the museums of Cardiff, Manchester and Melbourne."
